Shadow Invasion

It took longer than expected to finish the novel Shadow Invasion. Now it's done, except for the revisions, the edits, and who knows what else. The best part of writing is the first draft, the creative part where you just let go with your imagination. Yes, some research about reality is necessary too.

Currently I'm reading another Phillip K. Dick story: Man in the High castle. He was a genius and a favorite author of mine. He wrote about things most of us never consider in the way he considered them. He truly wanted to know several things: what is real? What is Human? Will the world decay?

It's a shame that he didn't  he didn't realize the rewards of his work while he still lived. But that applies to many of the world's great artists. Hollywood mad many of his stories into box office hits: Total Recall, Blade Runner, Minority Report, Screamers, A Scanner Darkly, and one of my favorites: Paycheck, and many more.

Below is a short video from 1977. After you listen to it, you will wonder about these issues. You will also notice how forward his thinking was.

As you can see, he was quite interesting.

Let me know what you think of this author.
