Economy to Nowhere

Currently, the DJIA is down more than 200 points today; 130.55 points yesterday, and last week was a bust.

The price of a gallon of gas is $4.05 at the nearby gas station.

This does not look good.

Major Error by CNBC?


Yesterday, I read this full page as in the Wall Street Journal and thought something amiss.
Correct me if I’m wrong. Aren’t the words “flat lines” (an adjective and a noun) supposed to be written as the verb tense “flatlines?”
I think CNBC must be quite embarrassed by the glaring error in a national publication. Think about CNBC spending a couple of hundred-thousand dollars for this, only to discover they used improper English.
