I took these photos at a beautiful spot in Coconut Creek, Florida: Butterfly World. It has beautiful butterflies (of course), birds, and blooming plants. It's a visual splendor. If you ever get a chance to visit, you'll have a great time examining the beauty it offers.

Here’s a photo from the Memories Matter lecture I gave this morning. I had a great time and got to meet the first lady of advertising, Judy Guerin. She had the first woman owned ad agency in New York. Also, she served as president of the Advertising Club in Manhattan, during the mid-eighties, I believe.

This is an amazingly dumb idea. Aren’t they worried about how bad the clients will feel when they lose cases? If a person can’t make the grade as an attorney, then that person should get a pass to go on to practice poorly in the profession.

Imagine of this concept made it to professional sports. We would see poorly played games. If this concept reached the entertainment industry (maybe it has), we would see poor quality movies, TV shows, and books.

Give the clients a break, professor.

The latest PEW Research analysis  of Census Bureau shows that not only have current economic policies failed to create jobs, they also failed to create better wealth distribution. Small business are struggling to keep up with new regulations; this accounts for the lack of jobs.

Maybe it's time to reconsider these policies.

Recently I reread Fahrenheit 451, probably for the tenth time. Every reading brings new insights into the mastery of Ray Bradbury as a truly gifted writer. This reading brought out the poetry and description this talented man used when he wrote his fantastical work. In addition, knowing that he taught himself the craft of writing makes it all the more impressive.

If you choose to emulate writers to improve your writing, Ray Bradbury would be a great author to study.
